Sponsored posts?
I get enough lame sponsored posts in my Facebook newsfeed, I really don’t want them on my tumblr. It’s pretty crappy that everything now has sponsored ads. I don’t have cable because I can’t stand commercials & now commercials are all over my dashboards…. Not cool.
People…..
People who want everything for free piss me off. At work we have people sign a release form. It states what chemicals we are using on their hair, the risks, & we also put the price that we’ve discussed on the form.
I did highlights on a woman last week & she loved them, well at least that’s what she kept saying.
She had about 2 inches of regrowth, light brownish/red sections of hair where her daughter in law did at home highlights from a box, then dark brown/red hair from midshaft to ends. It was a mess. I did several highlights & she loved it.
While I was working on her hair she kept arguing the price of the haircut. It’s $15.50. She kept asking me and a co-worker for our shears so she could just cut her own hair. We explained to her several times that wasn’t okay. After all the work was done she hugged me & said she wanted my card because she couldn’t wait to continue coming back to me. Well the whole service came to about $70. Her son was paying for it as a Mother’s Day present. Two days after I did her hair she begins calling the salon. The only person who can redo services is our manager. The manager spoke with her. She had nothing but nice things to say about me but she wasn’t fully satisfied with her hair.
The manager offered to fix it & also gave her the 1-800 number. Well she never came in to get it fixed but she’s called the 1-800 every freaking day to complain. She even complained about my co-worker! She just wants the money back & they won’t give it to her. Why should we? She paid $70 for highlights, haircut, blow dry, & style. She didn’t tip either. My co-worker also said I did an amazing job for being fresh out of school.
I will never ever understand people who try to tarnish someone’s name & reputation for a refund. I will never do that to someone. If she wasn’t happy with her hair she can come in & get it re-done for free but she won’t do that because there is nothing wrong with the work I did. She just wants her money back. If people can’t afford something they shouldn’t pay for it then expect to throw a fit & get their money back.

I will never ever understand this crap. You love your man yet you post naked photos of yourself on the internet? I don’t understand the desire to put nude pictures up on the Internet, ESP when you’re going to use the love you have for your man as the excuse. My husband would probably be furious if I posted photos like these all over the internet. Please tell me this fad will fade away & ladies will become classy again.
